Michaela and Matt met for the first time on the 4th of July in 2022 during an outing to brunch with their mutual friends. A couple weeks later they went on a double date with their friends Katie and Christian to a wine bar to play trivia- which after a couple of bottles ended with sake at RA sushi.

After a trip to Sedona, Matt made it official and the two haven't looked back.

Matt proposed on September 21, 2024- one week before the two celebrated their two year anniversary.

Their favorite things to do together are go to their favorite restaurant Jin Shabu, watch scary movies, grab coffee at La Grand Orange on the weekends, and stay home to spend time with their three fur babies- Stormy, Skye, and Ghost!
